Text Macro

The Beautiful Assets Text macro displays a single attribute value as plain text. It’s the simplest display macro and works with any attribute type.

Configuration

  1. Insert a Beautiful Assets Text macro
  2. Select a Filter from the dropdown
  3. Select the attribute to display
  4. Click Save

Usage

The Text macro renders inline, so you can place it within a sentence or paragraph. For example:

Employee: [Text macro showing Name] | Department: [Text macro showing Department]

Both macros can reference the same filter but show different attributes.

Notes

  • If the attribute has no value for the current object, the macro displays nothing
  • The value is displayed as-is, with no special formatting
  • For phone numbers, email addresses, or URLs, consider using the specialized macros (Phone , Email , Hyperlink ) that add clickable links
