Admin Settings

Beautiful Assets has app-wide settings that workspace admins can configure from Confluence.

Accessing Settings

  1. Go to Confluence Settings (gear icon in the top navigation)
  2. Under Apps, find Beautiful Assets
  3. The settings page has two sections: Settings and Logging

Permissions

To access the admin settings, you need Confluence admin permissions.

Important: Users viewing pages with Beautiful Assets macros need at least read-only access to the relevant Jira Assets object schemas. Without this, page viewers will see errors even if the page is configured correctly.

As an admin, ensure that:

  • The Jira Assets object schemas used by Beautiful Assets pages have appropriate read permissions for the intended audience
  • Users who need to configure macros have access to the schemas they need to query
